Class Description
Enjoy cooking? Wish you were better at it? Mid-State Technical Learning Kitchen courses are for you! Learn proper knife skills, how to prepare to cook, correct cooking techniques and explore a variety of unique cuisines. Class menus and topics vary each week but will include both chef demonstrations and hands-on practical skills for students, as well as written copies of recipes for you to recreate the meals at home! Prerequisite: A sense of adventures and an appetite!
 
Important Class Notes
French Farmhouse Cooking: In this class, students will prepare dishes such as French Onion Soup and Coq au Vin. Students will also learn the five Mother Sauces and will explore the influences of French cuisine on other culinary regions. Class will be held at ODC Wisconsin Rapids, 1191 Huntington Ave., Wisconsin Rapids, 54494.
