Class Description
Studies current police issues related to law enforcement and community attitudes. The course builds a strong basis for the discussion of ethical decision making and the need for a professional mindset. A component to this class focuses on community involvement. Students will identify community organizations in need of volunteers and complete 10 hours of service with those organizations. Prerequisites: Admission to Criminal Justice-Studies program 105045 and Intro to Law Enforcement 10504114

This class is a hybrid of scheduled class time along with traditional online instruction. Students will attend the class on the scheduled day and time. Students have the option to attend class in-person or using a web conferencing tool. (If the class has a lab, students should plan on attending the lab in-person.)
