| Class Description Using php to develop web applications with server-side components, the student creates and demonstrates data connectivity to the web. Additional tools may include elements of the following languages/technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, and bootstrap. Students write applications that retrieve data from a database for display to the web browser and capture data for storage from a web form. Additional topics include Object-Orientation and MVC. Prerequisites: Database Concepts and Design 10156101, Collaborative Applications Development 10152174, and Object Oriented Programming 1 10152121 |
| Important Class Notes Students will attend the Telepresence class on the scheduled day and time. Students have the option to attend class in-person or using a web conferencing tool. (If the class has a lab students should plan on attending the lab in-person.) Students should check their Mid-State email prior to the first class for any additional announcements or instructions. This class uses various types of instruction. Blackboard is used for the online portion of instruction. Information about accessing Blackboard can be found at http://mstc.edu/blackboard. Follow the instructions on the website or Blackboard home page to enroll in the Online Orientation and familiarize yourself with how Blackboard works. Please note that courses will not show up in Blackboard until the first day of class. |
